Tawna, an administrative manager, joined Hogan & Slovacek in June 2000 as the Firm's first Firm Administrator. Her responsibilities include human resources, recruiting, general administration, and facilities management for the Tulsa office - all areas she has worked in or managed for CPA firms for over 25 years.

Tawna received an Associate's Degree in Accounting from Tulsa Business College, and has additional credits in accounting, taxation, and personnel management. Before joining Hogan & Slovacek, Tawna's experience included co-ownership of three small businesses. She also worked as a consultant on confidential business manuscripts, and was a confidential writer of published business articles, manuals, and training programs for Tulsa area executives.

Tawna enjoys participating in civic and volunteer activities. Most recently these have included Relay for Life support for the American Cancer Society and service to the Tulsa Chapter of the Oklahoma Business Ethics Consortium, where she served as first-year Chair of the Program Committee.
