Joy Ondracek is a native Tulsan. She graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1977 with a BS in Secondary Mathematics Education. After teaching eleven years in Tulsa area communities, she followed a new career path studying accounting and other related courses at the University Center at Tulsa. She joined the Tulsa office of Hogan & Slovacek in January 1991. She is currently a tax manager for the firm.

Joy's practice includes a variety of tax entities. In addition to serving individuals in the area of wealth protection and estate planning, she serves a number of closely-held manufacturing and personal service businesses, including medical and dental practices. Her practice also includes consulting for several local family foundations. Joy's goal is to know her clients well enough to anticipate their needs and to provide the appropriate service.

Joy is the Past President of the Tulsa Chapter of the American Society of Women Accountants. She is an active member and is currently serving as the treasurer of the rotary Club of Tulsa Sunrise. She is a preschool Sunday-school teacher. Her other interests include yoga, travel, and gardening.
