A native Oklahoman, Dean was born and raised in Duncan and graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

Dean joined Hogan & Slovacek in 2007 as an audit manager, having previously spent 13 years in public accounting. He also served as controller for the Oklahoma division of a national wholesale distributor of plumbing and HVAC supplies. He has provided audit services for a wide variety of entities, including manufacturers, construction contractors, service providers, distributors, school districts, local governments, and non-profit organizations. He also has experience with SEC reporting and registration issues.

Dean is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also very active in the local and statewide arts communities and currently serves as President of the Board of Directors of the Tulsa Artists’ Coalition.
