Bret is a tax manager with Hogan & Slovacek, A Professional Corporation of Certified Public Accountants. He graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1989 with his Masters of Science in Accounting. He passed the CPA exam in November 1991.

Bret began his career in public accounting as a tax staff in Tulsa. He has worked in both public accounting and industry as a tax professional. In addition, he has been the controller of several companies. He joined Hogan & Slovacek in May 2007.

Bret’s areas of practice include tax compliance reporting and planning, consulting services and litigation support. He has worked extensively with construction companies, multi-state filing, pass-through entities and oil and gas.
