Jim is a tax manager with Hogan & Slovacek. He graduated from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He then earned a Masters of Accountancy Degree in Taxation from the University of Oklahoma in December of 1993.

Jim passed the CPA exam in May 1994 before moving to Dallas to accept a position with a large regional firm. He moved back to Oklahoma City in December of 1996 to spend two years with Grant Thornton as a Tax Senior. Jim then spent several years working at smaller local firms in Oklahoma City. After running his own firm for two years, Jim joined Hogan & Slovacek in January 2006.

Jim is experienced in income and estate tax compliance and planning. He is experienced in the oil & gas and real estate industries. He also has provided services for doctors, dentists, veterinarians, attorneys and other professionals.

Jim is a member of the AICPA and the OSCPA. He is also actively involved in the Business Success Partners chapter of Business Networking International in Edmond.
