Chris Caldwell is a Tax Manager with Hogan & Slovacek. He graduated from Oklahoma Christian University in 1997, earning a BBA degree with Honors in Accounting, and immediately joined the Oklahoma City office of Arthur Andersen, LLP, as a member of the audit staff. After two years of broad audit experience, he assumed a Financial Accountant position with Devon Energy Corporation in Oklahoma City.

Since then, Chris has spent a brief period of time as a small business owner, and over four years with the law firm of McAlister, McAlister, McKinnis & Tuggle, PC, in Edmond, Oklahoma, as a Financial Consultant and Tax Accountant, with emphasis in Estate and Trust Administration and Estate Planning.

Chris received his Certified Public Accountant certificate in August 2002. In February 2005, he joined the Edmond CPA firm of John M. Arledge & Associates as a Tax Senior, then accepted his position with Hogan & Slovacek in May 2007.
Chris’ areas of practice include income tax compliance and planning, small business consulting, estate and trust administration and estate planning.

Chris is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is an active member in his local church, serving on its financial review committee, is active in adult league sports and assists with his son’s youth sports teams.
