Pat is a native Oklahoman, born in Ardmore and raised in the southern Oklahoma area. He graduated from East Central University in 1977 and joined the Tulsa office of Arthur Andersen & Co. He joined Hogan and Slovacek in 1984 and is currently a shareholder in the tax division of the Tulsa office.

Pat has specialized as a tax consultant during his entire business career with an emphasis on closely held organizations and family wealth. In recent years he has developed considerable expertise in the areas of retirement and personal financial planning. He is a principal team member for Disciplined Investments, L.L.C., a wholly owned subsidiary of Hogan & Slovacek which offers investment planning and management services.

Pat has served as the chair of the Continuing Professional Education Committee for the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants at both the State and Tulsa Chapter levels. He has been an active member of the OSCPA for many years, having served as President of the Tulsa Chapter and currently presiding as President of the statewide organization.
